Like a Man

A personal project that I envisioned to be a way to break the idea of male stigmatism in dance as well as toxic masculinity.

Growing up in the dance world as a male can be full of pressure and the stigma revolving around sexuality and gender identity. The purpose of this project was to destigmatize these ideas. Therefore making the relationship “like a man” to something not normally seen as masculine in the outside population.
